# Logging Entries in ChatGPT

Tell ChatGPT how your day went, and it saves an entry in your Pain Tracker diary. The entry appears in your calendar in the web app, Telegram and Discord.

## What you can mention

* Date. Without a date, the entry is for today in your account time zone.
* Pain intensity from 0 to 10.
* Start and end time.
* Where it hurt.
* Possible triggers.
* Medications you took and whether they helped.
* Symptoms and a note.

A new entry needs at least the intensity. ChatGPT may ask you to allow the action before it saves the entry.

## Example prompts

* “Log a migraine for today, 7 out of 10, I took ibuprofen.”
* “Add an entry for 30 August: pain 5 out of 10 in the forehead, trigger stress.”
* “The ibuprofen helped today.”

## Updating an entry

Your diary has one entry per day. If the day already has an entry, ChatGPT updates only the details you mention, and everything else stays as it was.

## Dates you can log

You can log today and earlier days back to 1 January 2020. Days in the future cannot be logged.

## The entry card

The entry card shows the intensity, date, times, locations, triggers, medications and symptoms.

* “Open in diary” opens the entry in the web app.
* “Set a reminder” appears when your daily reminder is off. It asks ChatGPT to set up a daily check-in. See [ChatGPT Reminders and Settings](/en/docs/chatgpt-reminders.md).

## Deleting an entry

Entries cannot be deleted from ChatGPT. Open the entry in the web app and delete it there.
